Hive Splitting

We offer a hive splitting/hive duplication service for your colony of native stingless bees. Our service fee is $80 per hour plus $50/hr travel time to and from North Brisbane.

If you require an empty hive box for your hive duplication, we are able to provide a standard OATH (honey) hive for an extra $175.

Hive rescue & relocation

Sometimes hives establish themselves in inconvenient or unsafe locations and are required to be moved. We will remove & relocate hives around the Brisbane area free of charge.

If you’d like to keep the hive after it has been rescued, we offer this service for $80 per hour plus $50/hr travel time to and from North Brisbane. We will also supply the hive box for $150 (this includes empty hive box, propolis ring for the entrance and hive lock).

Honey Harvesting/Honey Robbing

Want to harvest honey from your Australian Native Stingless Bee hive but aren’t sure how? Check out our post on harvesting honey. If you’d like us to do it for you, we offer this service for $80 per hour plus $50/hr travel time to and from North Brisbane. This service includes advice and training on how to harvest your own honey from your hive should you wish to do it yourself in the future.

Education and Advice

We offer a range of one on one or group education services on keeping and propagating native stingless bees. This service is $80 per hour (plus $50/hour travel to and from North Brisbane).
